🫁 This horse was referred to Equitom after struggling with chronic asthma-like symptoms and severe breathing difficulties. Despite previous treatments, his condition showed no improvement, a sign that something more complex might be going on.

Our internal medicine team carried out a comprehensive diagnostic work-up, including endoscopy, thoracic ultrasound and radiographs. The findings were unexpected: a tumor partially obstructing one of the main bronchi, a discovery that finally explained the marked respiratory effort and poor response to conventional therapies. 💡

This case is a powerful reminder of the importance of thorough diagnostics, especially when clinical signs don’t align with common patterns. Behind every complex case is a horse that deserves answers, and that's exactly what we strive to deliver. 🩵
