Sharp dental points

Due to uneven wear of the molars during chewing, sharp points can gradually develop. These are usually found on the outer side of the upper molars and on the inner side of the lower molars. These sharp points can cause sores in the horse’s cheeks or on the tongue. Fortunately, these sharp points can be easily removed with a dental rasp. At Equitom, we use a silent electric rasp with water cooling, which prevents thermal damage to the teeth.
